| QM, which stands for Qualità Maniago (Maniago Quality), is the abbreviation chosen to mark scissors, knives and corkscrews for the Knife District, which includes nine municipalities of the Pordenone piedmont area in the North east of Italy.
The project was born by setting standards and quality requirements that are common to companies that want to grow and make their name known worldwide. From now on the choice of quality has a mark of distinction all its own. The mark “QMANIAGO” is placed on the product and on the manufacturing system, which must ensure specific product quality. Montagna Leader (along with the company Quasar of Udine) and the Municipality of Maniago, through the activity of an operational technical committee, has developed a study for the definition of the requirements that must be able to be documented on a product that intends to carry this mark.
